Martinez Electrical Services provides electrical service, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair work as described in the applicable estimate, proposal, work order, or service agreement.
Services may include only those tasks specifically authorized in writing.
Website descriptions are general information and do not create a binding estimate, warranty, or commitment to perform work.
The final scope, price, materials, schedule, and service conditions will be stated in the applicable written estimate, proposal, work order, invoice, or service agreement.
An online, telephone, or email request does not guarantee an appointment or create a binding agreement.
A service request is accepted only after we confirm it.

Visible and reasonably accessible conditions.
Photographs or videos.
Plans, specifications, and project documents.
An on-site inspection.
Anticipated labor, materials, permits, and equipment.
An estimate may be revised if actual conditions, code requirements, access limitations, concealed defects, material availability, or the requested scope differ from the information initially provided.
Unless otherwise stated, an estimate is valid for 7 days.
The customer is responsible for:
Providing accurate property, project, and contact information.
Providing safe and timely access to the work area.

We may refuse, postpone, or stop work when conditions are unsafe, unlawful, inaccessible, materially different from those disclosed, or outside our authorized scope.
Electrical work may require permits, inspections, utility coordination, code upgrades, or approval from local authorities.
Responsibility for obtaining and paying for permits will be identified in the applicable estimate or agreement.
If inspectors, utilities, or authorities require additional work not included in the original scope, that work may require a written change order and additional charges.

Immediate safety work may be performed when reasonably necessary to prevent imminent injury or property damage and when authorized by the customer or otherwise permitted by law.

A change order may adjust:
Price.
Deposit.
Materials.
Labor.
Project timeline.

If a customer supplies materials or equipment:
The customer is responsible for suitability, compatibility, completeness, quality, and manufacturer support.
Additional labor caused by missing, defective, incompatible, or incorrect items may be charged separately.
We do not warrant customer-supplied materials or equipment.
Our workmanship warranty, if any, applies only to our authorized installation work.

Unsafe site conditions.
Material or equipment availability.
Permit or inspection delays.
Utility scheduling.
Access problems.
Customer-requested changes.
Conditions outside our reasonable control.
We will make reasonable efforts to communicate material scheduling changes.

The customer is responsible for preparing appliances, computers, servers, security systems, medical equipment, refrigeration, and other sensitive devices before an interruption.
Unless caused by our negligence or misconduct, Martinez Electrical Services is not responsible for losses resulting from an authorized or reasonably necessary interruption of electrical power.
You agree to pay the charges stated in the applicable estimate, proposal, work order, change order, or invoice.
Payment is due according to the applicable written agreement or invoice.
Past-due balances may be subject to lawful late fees, collection costs, suspension of work, or lien rights where permitted by law and properly disclosed.
The customer may not withhold payment for work unrelated to a legitimate dispute concerning the authorized services.

Provide a description, relevant photographs, and reasonable access to inspect the affected area.
Do not allow another contractor to alter the disputed work before we have a reasonable opportunity to inspect it, except when emergency action is necessary to prevent injury or further property damage.
Where appropriate, we may offer inspection, correction, repair, replacement, an insurance process, or another lawful remedy.
If emergency electrical services are offered, availability is not guaranteed unless an appointment is confirmed.
Additional after-hours, emergency, travel, or priority-service charges may apply when disclosed.
For fire, smoke, active sparking, downed power lines, electric shock, or an immediate threat to life or property, leave the unsafe area and contact 911 or the appropriate utility emergency service. Do not rely solely on a website form, voicemail, email, or text message during an emergency.
